Overview

TWMA has an established and implemented Integrated Management System which is maintained to support the business. TWMA is committed to protecting our staff from harm, protecting the environment, providing quality
products and services, and continually improving our processes to achieve this. This is delivered through compliance with the TWMA Integrated Management System certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety). The system is also aligned to the requirements of API Spec Q2, 2nd Edition, 2021 (Quality Service-Supply) Standard and legal obligations.

Integrated Management System

At TWMA, we believe the business community has a key role in creating a safe and inclusive environment that aims to improve people's health, cultural
and social well-being. To fulfil our role, we have initiated our impact for a good scheme that aligns with our investment strategy for community development. It reinforces our commitment to social sustainability and green growth. This policy is supported by the Integrated Management System comprising of processes which include:

  • Arrangements for effective customer satisfaction by being customer focused; anticipating and meeting the needs and expectations of interested parties; and concentrating on relationship management achieved by maintaining and improving resources that can impact the quality of the product, services, and customer experience;
  • Occupational Health and Safety controls for hazard identification and assessment of risks and opportunities in all aspects of the business’s activities through identifying hazards, assessing risk and opportunities, and following the hierarchy of controls;
  • Measures to identify compliance requirements; identify environmental aspects that relate to our business activities, products, and services; and mechanisms to measure, control and improve resource use in order to protect the environment and fulfil compliance requirements.

This allows us as an organisation to set occupational health and safety, environmental and quality objectives, take action to achieve our intended outcomes, conform to requirements, and continually improve the effectiveness of our Integrated HSEQ Management System and performance. To deliver these commitments, TWMA will:

  • Determine the risks and opportunities, by considering our internal and external issues, which may affect our business and interested parties, and take action to address these risks and opportunities;
  • Fulfil our compliance obligations; legal requirements and other requirements; and our business processes;
  • Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health for our staff, contractors, visitors, and others who can be affected by the activities of our organization;
  • Eliminate hazards and reduce occupational health and safety risk as well as considering opportunities to improve the health and safety of our workers;
  • Protection of the environment, including prevention of pollution from our own activities, products, and services, and considering the actual and potential effects on our business activities from external environmental conditions and events;
  • Ensure consultation and participation of workers, and where applicable, worker representatives;
  • Communicate openly with our stakeholders and interested parties to ensure an understanding of our HSEQ policies, standards, and performance;
  • Include HSEQ evaluation in relevant top management decisions;
  • Determine the necessary competence, and ensure competence of workers and other person(s) doing work under our control who can affect the performance of the Integrated Management System (including the ability to identify hazards) through appropriate education, training or experience;
  • Provision of resources, including people; infrastructure; environment for operation of processes; monitoring and measurement resources; and organizational knowledge needed to maintain, continually improve, and meet the intended results of the business and Integrated Management System;
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times;
  • Continual improvement of the Integrated Management System to enhance Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality performance, including a periodical review of this Policy to ensure it remains relevant and appropriate to the business, as well as its effectiveness. The policy is available to all TWMA staff and interested
    parties.
